I took a class through my quilting guild "The Sew and Sews", the quilt squares were called "Pointless Wonder." I made 12 squares and have started a lap quilt with brown strips. I have no idea how this will turn out. So stay tuned for some picture soon.
Meanwhile I finished the donation quilt top and am about to quilt it. Thanks Quilts for Kids for the project. you can go to http://www.quiltsforkids.org/volunteer/
They will send you the fabric for a quilt, or I challenge you to send in one of your own. Please contact QFK to get the information.
Now, I also have found some cute Christmas ideas for gifts from my local quilt shop Missouri Star Quilt Company http://missouriquiltco.com/shop/ , I love this shop. I found the most darling patterns. I have been able to go to Friday night sew, as well as I was able to take a class for cell phone case.
With Christmas coming, I really want to make gift for friends and family. I have jeans cut for a flannel and jean rag quilt. I am hoping to make a quilt for a raffle at work. It is that time of the year. Busy, Busy, Busy.
Tonight I am moving all my sewing stuff to my craft room downstairs. I am getting ready to set it all up. Who knew fabric is so heavy and takes up that much room. I certainly am getting a workout.
Happy Thanksgiving

Sneak peek to my new project
Here is the new project. It is really coming together. I learned this Pattern Technique from Missouri Star Quilt Company. It is easy and fun. It was under a tutorial for Tube Quilting.
Thanks Jenny and MSQC.

Finished this- how spooky is that
Here is the wall hanging top I finished. I love the how it turned out. I found great deals on the Fabric. The fun part was designing and sketching it out, then finding the fabric. I am not the best at the applique . I have a new product to try out, I bought a Fab U Motion for stippling. I had so much fun making this, I just love pumkins. I will be hanging this in my office at work. I will be quilting it tonight.

You've got Fat Quarters

OK so I am a newbie....at blogging
I started this quilt(Brown & Pink) for my grand daughters, Kimberly's 1st birthday, I finished it on her birthday. I found the pattern on line on a blog by Crazy Mom Quilts and thought it would be easy, well trial and error aside, It turned out pretty darn cute. Kimberly will love it one day.
So the next quilt(Butterfly Fling & Bright colors)I made for my older grand daughter, Kirsten's, 3rd birthday, I improvised and enlarged the pattern by adding 6" strips to the side. I thought well I am on a roll. Ok, I am not and I probably will not make another quilt like this for a while.
